About Me
I've always been inquisitive and loved to tinker. I could have easily become a motor head, but when I was eight years old my dad brought home a Commodore 64. I had no idea they made games for the Commodore, I just wanted to know how to program the thing. Now, I work as a computer technician and volunteer as webmaster and technology coordinator at my old grade school. When I'm not geeking out, I enjoy biking, camping, and photography.
If you follow me on Twitter, you notice I'm a strong supporter of copyright and patent reform. I'm especially focused on the use open source and creative commons licenses because I believe they allow creative people to make the world a better place even before the laws are reformed.

The Business of Busyness
Have you heart the saying, "If you want something to get done, give it to the busiest person you know."? Lately I've been realizing just how true that really is. I used to think busy people were uptight and, in the case of at least one couple I knew, driven by a preoccupation with possessions. But now I'm beginning to think that most of the busy people in my life are just more productive and happier because they work harder. I've been noticing that time slips away from me easily even though I'm not very busy and my best sense is that my problem comes from poor time management.
Blogging is Hard
Blogging sounds so easy, but I'm finding it way too hard. It's even harder when you can't quick mucking with the code long enough to post.
